The movie To Kill A Mocking Bird was based on Harper Lee's classic novel. The story was told from the perspective of Finch’s daughter Scout(whose character narrates the film in flashback) her brother Jem and their friend Dill are fascinated by the decaying old Radley place, where Boo Radley is a recluse. Lawyer Atticus Finch was the father of Jem and Scout takes on the case of an innocent black man Tom Robinson accused of assaulting a white girl Mayella Ewell.
I was confused and wondering why To kill a mocking bird was the title of the movie honestly when the movie starts I can't figure it out why, then when the scenes and the way Scout narrates the film finally I can understand what's the title of the movie actually mean when it was stated on the movie that mockingbirds don’t do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don’t eat up people’s gardens, don’t nest in corncribs, they don’t do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. And it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird. And on my own point of view Tom Robinson and Boo Radley are both at risk in the justice system of Maycomb. They were just like mockingbirds who are need of protection from others. Atticus tries to protect Tom Robinson and Sheriff Tate and Atticus protect Boo Radley. They try to help others. They are the only people in the story who are imprisoned. Tom Robinson is persecuted because he's black and Boo is persecuted by his parents for some long ago infraction and by the community because of his oddness.
The movie made me sympathize with those who were being discriminated against, but also those who fought for those people. Like what Atticus Finch did when he tried his best to defend the case of an innocent black man Tom Robinson accused of assaulting a white girl Mayella Ewell. The way the actor and actresses deliver their roles in the movie was an excellent job. The three children Jem, Scout and Dill have an impressive performance in the movie. I am wondering if the circumstances and attitude of the characters in the movie is just the same in their real life. But I'm pretty sure that some of the events in the movie occur in the real life. Everything in the movie was great and I can feel as if I were in their during the 1930s .TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD poses the injustice of race relations in the 1930's as a front for the events happening. The film is a must see for anyone of any age.To kill a mocking bird taught us, the viewers that to respect other's, be open minded, protect the innocent, equality, and moral stances.
